Now that 2025 is upon us, I thought I would share my release goals for the year.
The first two are write more books and publish them. My main focus will be a new Gaslamp fantasy series I’ll be publishing later this year. It’ll be victorian fantasy meets sherlock holmes with a touch of Elderitch horror. I’m very excited about it and I hop everyone will enjoy it when it does come out.
The second but just as important book is the second book in my Tyrant Reborn series. I’ll be writing it this year and releasing teh rough draft chapter-by-chapter on Royal Road and my patreon before cleaning it up and publishing it. the final version will be published in 2026. Since my Tyrant Reborn books are longer and a great deal more complex, i like to make sure to take my time with them so they’ll probably stay on a yearly release schedule.
Besides that, my other goals are continue learning programming. I’m an indie game dev, mostly a hobbyist at the moment and would like to delve deeper but am trying to build up my foundation. Besides that I also plan to do the online course, DrawABox, and working on improving my art skills. I’ll probably throw my amateur art up on the blog from time-to-time. It’ll be fun.
Lastly, I plan to practice typing (in hopes of getting my speed up) and do the normal goal of diet and exercise. This year, it’s a pretty important that I focus on diet and exercise. I’ve noticed a lot of people having health problems around me and I figure that’s a good sign I need to get my butt in gear.
2025 will be the year of Learning and Building!
